FAQ

What is a platinum nanoparticle?
Platinum nanoparticles are very small particles with diameter from 1nm to 10nm in average from
4nm, containing several dozens to hundreds of metal atoms. In general, there are many difficult
points in stabilizing metal nanoparticles, such as the increase in particle size due to metal bonding.
How many platinum nanoparticles are contained?
More than 10 billion per liter. Platinum nanoparticles range in size from 1nm to 10nm with an
average of 4nm. In fact, nanounit particles are not visible, but they are effective in coloring solutions
with metal nanoparticle-specific effects. The resulting color is not the general white, but a yellow or
near-red color. This is due to free electrons that move on the surface of small nano-sized metals.
When the free electrons are exposed to light, colors that do not normally occur come out.
Conversely, the color of the solution means that there are many small particles dispersed in the
solution.
Why is it effective?
The detailed mechanism is unknown. It is generally known that platinum has catalytic and
antioxidant effects, which can be nanoparticulated to increase surface area. Possible phenomena
include increased surface area, increased catalytic and antioxidant effects, and reduced bacteria and
viruses.
Why can’t I get rid of it even if I wash it?
This is because platinum nanoparticles penetrate into a fine gap that is not visible. If the method is
taken, it cannot be taken without scratching with the same nanosize or deforming the applied side
such as dissolution. In other words, it can’t be removed because it is packaged in such nano-sized
holes.
How long does the effect last?
I have not checked. The deodorizing effect has persisted for 3 years after the operation in high
school. In addition, since the antibacterial effect lasts even after washing 50 times, the effect can be
expected to last for a long time. It is not clear how long this time is to refer to, as no case has been
reported that the effect has gone away over time.
What can I use it for?
It is okay wherever there is a gap for particles of 1 to 10 nm to enter. Compared to fibers such as
clothing, tiles and plastics do not absorb water, so it takes longer to dry. If water remains on the
surface, the platinum nanoparticles will separate with the water when it flows or is wiped off, so be
sure to dry it once.
How can I use it?
Since the smaller the droplet is more likely to be dry, apply the droplet slightly (about 30cm) away
from the application surface and cover the entire surface while moving it. The smaller the droplet
applied, the faster the dryness and the better the effect. Conversely, when water droplets become
larger, platinum particles are more likely to overlap, making them less effective.
How much should I spray on it?
Two pushes (1.6ml) are appropriate for 40 cm x 40 cm. Multiplication does not change the effect
much. Conversely, if it is even less, it may not be effective. This was indeed the result of an
experiment in a room of the same size, which did not result in a rapid deodorizing effect when the
amount was below this level.
Does the amount of spraying have a different lasting effect?
No change. The effect is achieved when the bacteria and the source of odor comes into contact with
the platinum nanoparticles, so if they overlap, they cannot exert the effect without touching the
bacteria. Thus, superimposition does not change the effect.

Does it spray too much to cause itching or rashes?
Currently, no such complain has been reported.
Can the sprayed liquid change color?
Now, there is no such example. Fundamentally, the color of the platinum nanoparticle solution is
caused by the light reflection of the nanoparticle in the solution. Because platinum is not an
ingredient that gives a pigment-like color, there is no problem as the color will no longer be effective
when it comes out of the liquid. In the first place, nanoparticles are not visible to the naked eye
(resolution 10μm).

We handle products for companies as raw materials. This product can be applied to a wide variety of
products and mixed to provide additional value such as antibacterial effect.
Platinum nanoparticle undiluted solution for anti-virus
This is an undiluted solution of platinnano. It is applied or impregnated to provide antibacterial,
deodorizing, and antiviral effects. Use this solution freely diluted according to the application and
method.
Platinum nanoparticle undiluted solution for anti-mold.
When applied or impregnated, it is an aqueous solution that provides antibacterial, deodorant, and
antiviral effects as well as anti-mold effects. Use in bathrooms, downstream of sinks, backs of mat,
and other areas where molds are likely to occur.
Ceramic powder attached with platinum nanoparticles
Platinum nanoparticles were attached to the ceramic powder. It is a powder, so it can be mixed
directly into raw materials to have antibacterial effect. Use the product for materials that are in
contact with human beings, such as ceramics, rubber products, metal products, etc.
New product platinum nanoparticle combined plastic master batch
New product platinum nanoparticle combined plastic master batch
Platinum nanoparticles were kneaded into the plastic.
Simply mix the antibacterial masterbatch into the plastic raw material to produce a plastic product
with antibacterial effect. (Scheduled for completion at the end of March 2012)
